What beautiful strawberries! We picked our first "crop" today - just six little strawberries that have ripened in the greenhouse. The outside ones have several weeks before they are ready to harvest.
Oh YUMMMMMM. When I was young my fav way of eating them was to be given a bowl of newly washed berries and a bowl of sugar ...holding them by their stalk the friut was submerged in the sugar then withdrawn only to be devoured with relish. ....memories
Oh my, those do look delicious. My choice would be for strawberries and cream--'pouring cream' as the Welsh would say. That's heavy cream unwhipped. But being a sugar freak, I'd have to have sugar on them

Mmmmmmmm.....I love strawberries. Home grown ones always taste so much better than shop bought.
