I daresay that's due to the narrow winding roads which are made treacherous with even a light coating of snow or ice.
I'm impatient to be doing more in the greenhouse.Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314065896417867122.post-23249448678081553992020-02-09T09:45:26.622-05:002020-02-09T09:45:26.622-05:00Rainey; Temps a bit below the freezing mark do see...Rainey; Temps a bit below the freezing mark do seem cold--nothing like weeks of below zero F. in both Vermont and Wyoming where we spent many winters. We are toasty warm in the new house--the always chilly camper trailer of last winter a mere memory.Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314065896417867122.post-92199570605976482142020-02-09T09:43:09.558-05:002020-02-09T09:43:09.558-05:00Jennie; I refer to Willis's markings as 't...Jennie; I refer to Willis's markings as 'tweedy'--his coloring is quite muted. [His personality is not!]
I've been admiring the 'snowscape' photos that friends in Vermont have posted--I loved the look of winter there, as well as in Wyoming, but so much easier not to deal with it. Hoping to wind up one project today [Sunday] and maybe take a break to sew before working on the two that are in the works. Still no response from newspapers.com. What a bother!
Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314065896417867122.post-46314182817211488272020-02-08T00:02:50.385-05:002020-02-08T00:02:50.385-05:00I like Willis and the brothers, they seem to enjoy...I like Willis and the brothers, they seem to enjoy their bench close to the door. I do love a snow day though, but not necessarily snow days! You really got the greenhouse up and going in the nick of time. I am impressed that the temperature holds at ten degrees above the outside reading. We are bracing ourselves for a named storm (Atiyah)which arrives tomorrow afternoon. Tam is travelling back from Yorkshire tomorrow and we are booked in for a Fair on Sunday. Hope neither is affected by the wind/rain.

Your Willis is the same type of lesser-marked Tabby as our Ghengis. Our other stripey-boy, Theo, has much stronger black markings.

I bet you will be delighted to finish your geneaology project and start on the new book! I am reading Circe, which Tam loaned me. Excellent.Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.com
