Thats' going to look great.Alistairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16667242161539996736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314065896417867122.post-21862367624299337522011-09-30T07:12:21.748-04:002011-09-30T07:12:21.748-04:00I think you and D did a great job. I love the little stone wall and the steps leading up to it and how nice to learn the story from your neighbor as to where the rocks came from.

You had a nice day potting plants and your tea on the porch sounds so relaxing.

I don't quite have a typical 'cottage garden' either, as I can't grow the traditional flowers grown in one. There is no right way to garden, we do what works for us and makes us happy.

I like the idea of the row of sunflowers along your fence.

Enjoy your fall and planning for next year's gardens.

FlowerLadyFlowerLady Lorrainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17678852154334714784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314065896417867122.post-78520173854895127512011-09-30T04:22:11.421-04:002011-09-30T04:22:11.421-04:00What fun. You have a lovely lot of land to "play" with :-D
Like you, we have to hit the Roundup, due to tenacious brambles which we just cannot eliminate by digging alone.
I shall be interested to see how you get round the challenges of planting up any tricky areas.
Good luck :-)Kathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04003521059890699861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314065896417867122.post-32728217841993137092011-09-30T03:52:38.223-04:002011-09-30T03:52:38.223-04:00My goodness you do get a lot done in one day. You should stop for tea around three o'clock and then take the rest of the afternoon off!ChrisJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11550420299395301062noreply@blogger.com
