I "butchered" pumpkins the past two days, cutting, cleaning, cooking and scraping out the meat for the freezer. And studied Christmas carols folklore and history for upcoming presentations. But the sense of peace and...comfort?... is strong. Frost is heavy in the mornings, the fire feels good.
