I make mistakes when I am tired or distracted, but usually I catch them while they can be made right. Sometimes i think our eyes weary of a certain project and we simply don't see an error that at other times would stand out. That was a nice thing about working at the quilt shop--we could inspect each others' layout with fresh eyes.
You'll have noted the many prints in that quilt that feature winey purples--fall colors [other than screaming orange] are my favorites.Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7314065896417867122.post-6458472542083073262013-10-21T14:03:21.948-04:002013-10-21T14:03:21.948-04:00Gosh, could I ever do with you here now. With my ...Gosh, could I ever do with you here now. With my brain activity firmly on "hold" I have been making mistake after mistake on T's quilt blocks. I should really know better than to try and plod on when I am like this but I hate to waste time sitting around . . . I have also had a procession of WET cats trying to "help"!

What a beautiful combination of colours on your latest quilt. I am racking my brain to think if I have seen such mellow autumnal colours in our patchwork shop. I am sure there must be, but I have been dwelling in the purple section for Tam, and pale/white prints for contrasts.

I know what you mean about the cats being aloof and then half-mad with joy to have you home. It's the same with horses!

My late-planted Cosmos (ahem, August!!!) have rewarded me with late flowers now, bless them. Probably beaten to the ground after the next band of wind and rain though. Nice to see your garden still has some colour in it.Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.com
