Few Words Needed!

We spent the week at the farm, keeping fires burning.
Moved the cats up on Tuesday evening--much wailing and howling from the cat carriers as we drove through snow and ice--quite slowly.
No way would I drive in such conditions!
The cats settled in very happily.
We are a week behind in getting our goods and chattel all cleared out of the stone house.
The move will go forward as weather permits.
Que sera, sera!

  1. Glad you've made the move for the most part, and that everyone is settling in. The snow looks so cold, but that last photo is beautiful with the plowed road, fencing and big blue sky with the tree studded hills.

Have a great week ~ FlowerLady

  2. Got to admit, it is pretty, though! Looks like a Currier and Ives illustration.

  3. Not the ideal weather for moving house! At least it should encourage the cats not to stray too far. Wishing you well with the rest of the moving.

  4. This has been the roughest winter. I think of you up there in the snow and cold. Hope you get settled in soon.

  6. With the problems we had in a township area with good snow removal (southwest Ohio), I can just imagine what you were going through. Glad you are taking it with a cheerful attitude.

  7. I somehow lost the link to your blog and have just re-found it! When last I read you were moving plants to the new house. I seem to have missed an entire chapter! It has been fun catching up and congratulations on the 'new' farm. It looks positively delightful and I can't wait to read about all your new projects.
